Seriously people.
As far as I am concerned, language is there to communicate. That is, to make people understand you.
Oh I have nothing against people who use acronyms.
No, this is about people who almost tell you something, while looking as if they mean something else, and then say something utterly incomprehensible. And then when asked to explain them selves, they will smile in an infuriating way, and say No, they didn't really mean anything by it.
huh?
didn't really mean anything?
then why did you go to all that length to say it mate?
Moronness overload.
It's no use pretending to be coy, because I can tell when you're lying. Unfortunately, I ain't no Sookie Stackhouse and cannot read your mind. So although I know that you're lying, I don't know why you're lying.
I wish people would just be honest and say what they mean and mean what they say. The world would be a much better place.
PS : Sookie picture from here.

I'm with you all the way. I have a brother that's an amateur conspiracy theorist and I finally got tired of it. The breaking point was when I was talking to my other brother and he started doing it too. Good grief. I told him if he wanted to have a conversation with me then stop using the code words. I'd have to spend minutes/hours trying to guess what he was trying to say. Honestly, I've got better things to do.
